Well-managed projects, ships adapted to the needs of their users
From defining the need to delivering the vessel, ANEMO supports local authorities, ports, and shipowners in the success of their naval projects. Each project reflects the same high standards:
Étel Maritime High School – Lymaret II
To support the modernization of its training resources, the Maritime High School of Étel has undertaken the construction of the Lymaret II, a new training ship intended to train the sailors of tomorrow.
ANEMO supported the project owner in defining, managing, and monitoring this strategic project, ensuring consistency between the institution's educational needs, operational constraints, and the technical choices for the future vessel. As a key interface between the project owner, the naval architect COPREXMA, and the shipbuilder Chantier Bretagne Sud, we played a significant role in securing the various phases of the project, from program definition to construction monitoring.
Designed by COPREXMA and built by Chantier Bretagne Sud, the Lymaret II incorporates a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion, solar panels and an aluminium hull, illustrating the ambition of the project: to offer a modern, efficient training tool in line with the environmental challenges of the maritime sector.
Delivered to the Étel Maritime High School, the Lymaret II now serves as a valuable educational tool for future maritime professionals. This project exemplifies our role in Project Management Assistance: supporting decision-makers in their choices, coordinating project stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of a vessel that fully meets the client's operational objectives.

A 100% electric passenger ship for LORIENT AGGLOMERATION
As part of its sustainable mobility policy, Lorient Agglomeration has undertaken the renewal of the ship providing the maritime link between Port-Louis and Gâvres, an essential line for the daily travel of residents and the attractiveness of the territory.
The future, fully electric vessel represents a flagship project for the energy transition applied to local maritime transport. It will offer a quieter, more environmentally friendly service, adapted to the requirements of regular operation in the Lorient harbor.
As Project Management Assistant, ANEMO supports Lorient Agglomeration in all strategic phases of the project: analysis of operational needs, definition of the technical program, preparation of the consultation of builders, analysis of offers and monitoring of the design and implementation.
ANEMO acts as the interface between the project owner and the various stakeholders in the project in order to guarantee consistency between the objectives of the public service, the expected performance of the vessel and the technical constraints related to electric propulsion.
Beyond the construction of a new waterbus, this project illustrates the evolution of maritime mobility towards decarbonized solutions.

The Two Shores – repowering and modernization project
Lorient Agglomeration has launched a program to re-engine the vessel Les Deux Rives. Beyond replacing the propulsion system, this project aims to extend the vessel's lifespan, improve its operational performance, and reduce its environmental footprint. This initiative demonstrates the local authority's commitment to investing sustainably in a more fuel-efficient and higher-performing fleet.
As Project Management Assistant, ANEMO supports Lorient Agglomeration in defining the modernization program, developing technical specifications, and preparing the tendering process. Our mission also includes ensuring the soundness of technical, regulatory, and economic choices to guarantee that the selected solutions fully meet the vessel's operational objectives while mitigating the risks associated with this particularly complex transformation project.
By supporting this project, ANEMO confirms its expertise in naval modernization operations and its commitment to working alongside communities to develop more sustainable maritime solutions, reconciling continuity of public service and control of investments.
