Expertise and studies of an American star from 1907

Recently restored, this 1907 wooden motorboat, designed by Cox & Stevens, embodies the charm and aesthetics of vintage vessels. Measuring 6.10 meters in length, this tender from an American Great Lakes yacht underwent meticulous restoration. Garboards and other planking, engines, and solid wood seating are just a few examples of the elements lovingly renovated by its current owner.

The stability of this vessel is currently the subject of an in-depth study. The objective is to improve the boat's performance in rough seas without compromising the historical aesthetics of the launch.

Sea trials, stability testing, hull modeling, monitoring of modification work and sea trials at the end are the major steps we are carrying out on this project.
